Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû (/ˈdoba/ /əˈhu̹ʧʊ/ [appropriate] [entrance]) is a temperate Small City located in S̺a Qolû Kingdom, Lu̽chi Viya Empire, within the Warren.

The name Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû is derived from the Sylvin language, as Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû was founded by Niyḿa, who was culturaly Rattu.

Climate

Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû has a yearly average temperature of 13°C (55°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 27°C (80°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a freezing 0°C (32°F). Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû receives an average of 271 cm/y (106 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of snow during the pleasantly short winter months. Overview

Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû was founded durring the late 11th century, by Niyḿa. The establishment of Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû's construction back out of the project. Niyḿa pushed on reguardles, and Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû was built using the conventions of Rattu durring the late 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû is buildings are arranged arround a network of restrictive paverstone streets which form a grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The city posesses a fortified albit thin wall of querried stone. This wall posesses most of the features of a castle wall, though it is constructed from cheeper inferior stone. It would pose a minor chalange for an attacking army, though it's clear the wall's true purpose is to crush the hopes of bandits and marauders. Unfortuantly, these failry decent fortifications are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû’s streets. In spite of this, quite a few people can be seen reading and the city has an abundance of libraries. It’s quite clear the community values education.

Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû's old civil lighting system was converted to Galvanic Lamps recently, and expanded to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.

Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû has a first rate hospital which caters to anyone in need of long term medical care.

Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû's natural decorations nor waterways.

Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû has a Guild of Roadworkers, who are responsible for maintaining the roadways and public paths within town. They also have the duty of enforcing all civil laws relating to the roadways.

Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.

Cultural Notes

Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for the combined use of arcuated and trabeated construction, employing arches and constructed with post and lintel. The arch served as the style's chief structural element, with flanking columns serving as buttresses or decorations. While the general shape of their structures could be generously described as simplistic, the use of these arches and columns created a most distinct ascetic which is easily distinguishable on sight to armatures and experts alike.

In Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû during thunderstorms, with each flash of lightning, everyone sees different monsters from the corner of their eyes.

The Bear, Brown (Grizzly) near Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Chyameya Doba àhu̹chû's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves drinking to channel Necromancy energies of tier 1 via moments of science.
